This blog began in September of 2009 as a place for me to write my Sims 3 legacy, The Creeper Legacy, as well as read and connect with other Sims legacies and stories from the Sims community. Since then, it has seen its share of ups and downs, hiatuses, and activity spikes, with plenty of time invested all around. Most recently, it has evolved into Confessions of a Lady Gamer, focusing on gaming news, reviews, gameplay, and video game story telling from a female gamer’s perspective.
If you’re a fellow lady gamer or simply enjoy entertaining gaming based content and updates, this blog is for you. I post regularly each month, combining my passion of writing and gaming with a dash of silliness to brighten your day.
My name is Starla. I am self-employed, 33 years old (act like I’m 12), and have two kids and a bearded dragon named Hades.
I’ve been playing video games since I was very little, around three years old when my dad bought my brother and I the original NES. Most of my favorite memories from life are centered around playing video games, or watching my brother and parents play them. Much like music, video games have the ability to bring up cherished moments and eras in my mind, and for that I will always love them.
